How green is my world

Deep in the New Zealand bush, a little koru forest princess dwells.
With her beautiful unfurling fern frond she swayed in the gentle breeze and smiled.
When the trampers walked by, they could not detect her, thou they commented on the beautiful ferns laid out on the forest floor.

KORU - The Koru is the Maori name given to the new unfolding fern frond and symbolizes new life, growth, strength and peace.

Soft light falls

Soft light falls
The pale yellow sun's light, shines softly down on to the little child
Her pale pink dress glows softly in the pale sunlight
Flowers abound in her long golden hair
Soft light falls

May the sun's soft light shine on you

Roses are red

Roses are red
They cover my archway of ivy, with joyful color
Strong summer colors
Bright in the sunshine
Their petals are starting to fall
Here is my rose fairy
She is very busy flying around
Her wings are made of gossamer
Soft, like the petals of a rose to your cheek .

Sunflower Child

Summer time in New Zealand
Colors in summer are strong, stronger than the other seasons
The sun shines down, bright flowers grow in the garden
Strong red roses , deep purple lavender
Yellow Sunflowers that follow the sun with a smile on their faces.

Out of this came my little sunflower child
She became very soft and gentle
Reminding me once again, to be mindful in my thoughts, through all the seasons
Through all my life. That words unspoken are just as important as words spoken
Thoughts unspoken require a lot more effort, so that when they are spoken, they are spoken with love and light.

Becoming a Grandmother

I have just become a Grandmother for the first time
My eldest son and his wife had a little baby boy
How wonderful is new life
How special to hold him in my arms
His little eyes looked up at me
I kissed his soft downy head
How sweet he looked
He smelt like sugar
My darling Grandson

Spring is Coming

Thou it is summer here in New Zealand, I am mindful that Spring is coming soon to the rest of the world.

Here is a Spring picture

It was still winter time, and the children lay asleep tucked up deep within Mother Earth, safe and snug in their winter coats.
The first rays of the warm spring sun shone down, and started to warm the Earth.
Up they came, putting on their beautiful Spring dresses, up they came, into the warm spring light, to dance amongst the flowers and under the golden spring sun.
How happy they were, after the long quiet of Winter.

Out in my garden the grapes are growing, as it is only mid January and summer time, they are still green, they will get big and purple and juicy for eating around mid March. I decided to make a little Green Grape child. I think she is so sweet.

Greek Mythology

Danane was confined in a brazen tower by her father who feared an oracle predicting that he would be killed by a grandson.
In her tower she was visited by Zeus in the form of a golden shower, and bore him a son. Perseus.
When her father discovered the baby, he cast them out to sea in a wooden chest, but they floated ashore on the Isle of Seriphos where they were rescued by Dictys.

Reflecting in the moonlight

Once there lived a lttle gnome . He was busy in his subterranean home guarding all the crystals and treasures of the earth . He decided to come up into the gathering dusk where he rested under and old tree. He looked up at the moonlight and reflected that he did enjoy his life and guarding all the treasures.

Guardian angel

This angel is guarding the children
Her protection is life long
Are we not lucky to have someone who is watching over us
Someone we can ask for help from
Someone who cares about us
And who answers our questions
I believe in angels.

I was lucky enough to be featured in a treasury on etsy.

Trees

I lay under the tree, and feel it breathe
I look up and feel its wonder wash over me
The beautiful green leaves
The sunlight sparkling through
The protection it gives me
It shelters me
I thank you for being a part of Mother earth
I thank you for being in my life.

Summer Playhouse

One day a little girl went down to the bottom of the garden.
She went inside her playhouse and looked out the window, she became very still and quiet.
She could hear the birds singing and feel the sun on her face.
She watched the bees buzzing around and listened to their humming.
She was very happy in her playhouse and loved Mother Earth.

Sometimes, up in the heavens an angel is waiting to place a new born babe in a Mother arms.
How very special this is , that the angel knows when the Mother is ready.

My lavender girl

And here she is, my beautiful lavender girl.
Wearing her lovely smoky blue, purplish dress.
And at her feet, a real miniature basket, filled with wool lavender flowers

Lavender

My lovely lavender hedge is in full bloom, the bees are buzzing around it, the smell is glorious, so strong and pungent.
The colors of the smoky blue, purplish flowers on green stalks are a joy to the eye. When I am out in my garden I always run my hands through them and bruise the flowers on my wrist, so that their lovely smell stays with me a little longer.

This picture is of my lavender hedge and herb walk, I have herbs between paving stones.
