Old Fashioned Singing Games

This delightful children's book is in excellent condition
It was published in 1983, some 29 years ago by Four Winds Press

The original illustrations, with accompanying verses and instructions were discovered by Dorothy's daughter, Carol Odell, in an old family trunk

Some history....
The singing games were collected and illustrated by Dorothy Fuller, she and her two sisters traveled through England and America in the early 1900s singing folk songs at many theaters and universities and teaching the games

This is a delightful collection of twelve best loved old-fashioned children's singing games contains verses,music and simple step-by-step instructions on how to play each game

Exquisitely illustrated with delicate water-colors depicting scenes from the games. this book will delight. Older readers will recall with nostalgia such favorites as "When I was a young girl"
"The Mulberry Bush" "Looby Loo" "Ring a Ring of Roses"

It measures 10 inches by 7 inches

There is a tiny tear on the back dust cover measuring about 1 inch
